FRIDAY NIGHT AA SPEAKER LILLIE H. from Maine -
19 yrs.
I fell off a
bar stool on October 28th, 1989. (Ahh, the class of 89)! I
consider November 8th to be my sobriety date
and I talk about that in my
story. I live in the house I grew up in as a child. As a matter
of fact have an aerial picture in my
home that includes a picture of the
house I was born in, the house I moved to, the house I live in today, the
church I went to
as a child and the cemetery plot where I will be buried.
(I guess you could say I am a real home town girl and a
Maine-e-ac too boot!)

start. My home group is a Stag meeting in Southern California with over a
hundred members and is where I’ve learned to deal with the effects of
alcohol from a male point of view. I spoke at the
AA Convention in San Luis Obisbo in '08
for the first time.
